Data Protection Information

Our work is subject to strict ethical principles. This is why we ensure the data of all visitors to our website and all users of our (mobile) applications is protected. The way in which we record and store data is based on the usage of our website and the associated services.

1. Data collection and processing when accessed from the Internet
When you visit our website, our web servers temporarily save all access details in a log file. The following data is recorded and saved until automatically deleted:

  • IP address of the visitor (anonymised)
  • Date and time of visit
  • Reference URL (the site via which the visitor came to our site)
  • The pages visited on our website
  • Information on the browser used (browser type and version, operating system, etc.)

This data is processed in order to enable the selected website to be used), to ensure system security, to enable the technical administration of the network infrastructure, and to optimise the Internet offer.

2. Cookies
Our website uses cookies, which store data in your browser for the purpose of technical session control. This data is deleted once the browser is closed. You can, of course, use our website without cookies, although most browsers automatically accept cookies. You can block the saving of cookies via the settings of your browser.

3. Web analysis with Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service offered by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies, which are text files stored on your computer that enable analysis of the way you interact with the site. The information generated by the cookie regarding your use of this website is generally transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the USA. However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or other parties included in the Agreement on the European Economic Zone. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Under the command of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to analyse your interaction with the website to generate reports on website activities, and to provide other services in connection with website and Internet use to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics is not added to any other Google data. You can block the cookies by adjusting your browser settings. However, you should be aware that this may prevent you from being able to use all functions of this website to the full extent. In addition, you can opt out from having data about your interaction with the website (including your IP address, which is generated by the cookie), recorded and processed by Google by downloading and installing the add-on for your current browser at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.

Further information on terms of use and data protection can be found at https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/us.html or https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en. We would like to inform you that, on this website, Google Analytics was extended to include the code “gat._anonymizeIp();” in order to ensure IP addresses are collected in anonymised form (so-called IP masking).

4. Data provided by you
In addition to the automatically collected data, we also process the data that you provide. If you use the applicant system or a contact form on our website, you send us your data, which includes your surname and your email address. We only use this information to provide the requested information or to contact you.

5. Forwarding of information
One of our most important principles is to handle your information carefully and confidentially. We will not sell your data to third parties. Your data will only be passed on to third parties when legally required. If permitted under current legislation, we may forward your data to other companies within the EXXETA Group.

We use service providers that also occasionally process data on our behalf. For example, we use third-party companies for web hosting, applicant management and maintenance services. When required to provide the agreed upon services, we will provide these service providers with access to personal data. The service providers are contractually obliged to treat all data as strictly confidential. It is contractually forbidden for them to process this data for purposes other than those agreed upon. We do all we can to ensure our service providers also respect the confidentiality of your data.

6. Changes to this data protection policy
EXXETA is obliged to preserve the basic principles of data protection. As a result, we regularly review our data protection policy to ensure it is kept up to date and in line with data protection requirements. This data protection policy may be changed from time to time in order to bring it in line with new Internet developments and applicable legislation. Significant changes to the data protection policy will be published on our website along with a current version of the policy.
